Our Impact
Since its founding, Acts of Kindness CT has provided over 12,000 meals to hospitals and community organizations across Connecticut. What began as a small, local effort has grown into a consistent and reliable food donation network serving Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Hospital, and homeless shelters.
As a co-founder and current leader of the organization, I have focused on expanding both the reach and efficiency of our operations. By strengthening relationships with existing partners and onboarding new national and regional food businesses, I have helped significantly increase the volume of surplus food rescued and redistributed. Since taking on this leadership role, I have personally helped coordinate the donation of approximately 6,000 meals, ensuring that surplus baked goods are delivered safely, promptly, and responsibly.
Beyond meal counts, our impact is measured in sustainability and trust. Acts of Kindness CT reduces food waste, supports critical community institutions, and provides businesses with a dependable way to turn surplus into service. Each partnership strengthens our ability to grow, expand to new locations, and continue making a measurable difference throughout Connecticut.
